 June 30 – US broadcaster Fox’s “FIFA World Cup Pregame” show has averaged 2.4 million viewers across Fox, FS1, and Tubi through the group stage, which is up a remarkable 117% on the same show four years ago, which managed 1.11 million. 

And it’s pulling those numbers despite featuring Alexi Lalas, one of the more divisive figures in American football broadcasting. Love him or loathe him, the audience is showing up regardless. 

That 2.4 million average sits just under what ESPN’s “College GameDay”
